Bringing Afghanistan With Me
Joyora is also a way for me to carry my heritage forward.
The designs are inspired by the beauty and identity of Afghanistan—the pomegranate, mountains, colors, patterns, and artistic traditions that connect me to where my story began.
But Joyora was created in the United States, where I found opportunities to learn, work, build relationships across cultures, and create something of my own.
Joyora brings those two worlds together.
Afghan heritage.
American opportunity.
Modern everyday life.
I want people around the world to see the beauty of Afghan-inspired design—not only through a product, but through the story and purpose behind it
ONE SUN. TWO HOMES. ONE PURPOSE.

Education changed the direction of my own life. That is why it is difficult for me to think about girls and women who want to learn but cannot access the education they need.
Today, more than 2.6 million girls in Afghanistan have been denied secondary education since 2021. Girls and women are also excluded from higher education.
But the challenge goes beyond school. Many also lack access to learning resources, basic literacy, and digital skills.
Behind every statistic is a person.
A girl who wants to learn to read.
A young woman who wants to learn a language.
A student who wants to learn technology.
Someone who dreams of becoming a teacher, doctor, engineer, artist, or entrepreneur.
Their potential is there. What they need is a pathway.
When Education Is Out of Reach
I know that Joyora cannot solve Afghanistan’s education crisis by itself. That is not my promise. My promise is to start.
I want to begin by supporting 4–5 girls with access to learning, educational resources, and skills that can help them build a stronger future.

We will start small, learn what works, and grow as Joyora grows.
If Joyora grows, I want the mission to grow with it.
Four or five students can become a larger group.
A group of students can become families.
And families can pass knowledge and opportunity to the next generation.

When you purchase a Joyora bottle, you are first choosing a beautifully designed, functional product inspired by Afghan heritage.
As Joyora grows, my goal is for a portion of its profits to support education opportunities for girls and women who face barriers to learning.
You don’t have to change the world by yourself. You can simply choose a product with a purpose.
